EXPERIMENTING

MY WORKSPACE AT SOME POINT:
I learned how to use Ableton (music software), honed my Premiere Pro skills, experimented and performed with my vocal looping station, as well as went to numerous open mics, rehearsals, and jam sessions across Germany.
Two significant realizations emerged when composing harmonies: firstly, the importance of layering clean sounds rather than e.g. inaudible whispers (as I did in #2 TRIPPING OVER A PEARL), and secondly, the recognition that embracing repetition establishes necessary structure. I tend to lean towards experimentation, as I get bored rather quickly and like to challenge myself. Yet sometimes this leads to a lack of structure, coherence and climax, hindering the listener from getting ‘sucked in’.

Student Radio Maastricht Radio Jam, which got aired on 04/10/23.
I volunteered at the DOK Leipzig International Film Festival (Oct 23), where I followed several masterclasses. This Colombian-German filmmaker screened a film about 'femininity and weed'.
My favorite performance I did at a Jazz club in Leipzig (Jan 24).
I acted in Ali Seif's movie project, which helped me get accustomed to on-screen performance (Feb 24).
